Waiting periods are the timeframes between when your cover starts and when you can claim certain benefits. They help ensure fairness for all members and vary by benefit type — general waiting periods are typically 3 months, while specific conditions may have longer waiting periods. Full details are outlined in your policy schedule.
Hospital cover provides financial support for qualifying hospital admissions, including ward fees, ICU-related treatment, emergency care and surgical procedures. It also includes support for accidental hospitalisation and traumatic medical events. Specific limits and qualifying conditions apply as outlined in your policy.
